On March 17, 2024, the GSSYA organized an online workshop focusing on Youth Life Skills, specifically targeting Conflict Resolution and Critical Thinking. The workshop, conducted via Zoom, aimed to equip participants with essential tools to navigate conflicts effectively and make informed decisions.

The workshop commenced with Anjana introducing the GSSYA Organization, extending a warm welcome to all participants, and setting the stage for the evening's discussions.Sunny, Volunteer representative of GSSYA, delivered a welcoming address, emphasizing the significance of the workshop and setting a positive tone for the session.

Community Safety Officer Trimothy Somers led an engaging session, focusing on conflict resolution, critical thinking, and crime prevention strategies. Officer Somers provided valuable insights into the workings of the Toronto Police and offered immediate responses to emergency situations.Following Officer Somers' presentation, participants engaged in a dynamic question and answer session. Simran, Gilda, and Sunny posed insightful questions, allowing for further exploration of the workshop's themes. Officer Somers offered his assistance to participants and suggested providing his contact information to address any additional queries or needs.

Simran delivered a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, Officer Trimothy Somers, and the organizers for their contributions to the success of the workshop.The workshop concluded successfully, with participants equipped with valuable insights into conflict resolution and critical thinking.
